Question 1

What do front end 2020 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1044 recorded sales of the 2020 MAZDA CX-5 with front end damage, the median was $5,000, from $3,450 to $7,425. That is 9% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2188 comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,600 to $8,200. At $9,900 this one went 80% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-5 has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 84,067 miles high for a 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 71,229 miles across 2188 sales, so at 84,067 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
