Question 1

What do front end 2020 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1038 recorded sales of the 2020 MAZDA CX-5 with front end damage, the median was $5,000, from $3,475 to $7,500. That is 9% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,525 a good price for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2165 comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,600 to $8,200. At $6,525 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-5 has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 35,270 miles high for a 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 71,145 miles across 2165 sales, so at 35,270 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
