Question 1

What do top/roof 2019 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2019 MAZDA CX-5 with top/roof damage, the median was $5,800, from $5,100 to $6,700. That is 14% above the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2019 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2658 comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,500 to $7,500. At $6,700 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $15,583. It sold for $6,700 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-5 has top/roof and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 133,690 miles high for a 2019 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 79,148 miles across 2658 sales, so at 133,690 miles this one sits 69% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
