Question 1

What do mechanical 2018 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2018 MAZDA CX-5 with mechanical damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,050 to $5,400. That is 18% below the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2018 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2584 comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,450 to $6,850. At $3,900 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 72,043 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 93,307 miles across 2584 sales, so at 72,043 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MAZDA CX-5. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LEXINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
