Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 62 recorded sales of the 2016 MAZDA CX-5 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,100 to $5,300. That is 8% above the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2016 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2479 comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,050 to $4,850. At $3,700 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 72,660 miles high for a 2016 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 112,758 miles across 2479 sales, so at 72,660 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This MAZDA CX-5 has normal wear & tear and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
