Question 1

What do front end 2016 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 911 recorded sales of the 2016 MAZDA CX-5 with front end damage, the median was $3,425, from $3,050 to $4,175. That is 4% below the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2016 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2491 comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,050 to $4,850. At $3,900 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage-ga mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage-ga. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-5 has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - ACWORTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 134,971 miles high for a 2016 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 112,861 miles across 2491 sales, so at 134,971 miles this one sits 20% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
