Question 1

What do left side 2017 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2017 MAZDA CX-5 with left side damage, the median was $4,875, from $3,625 to $6,050. That is 6% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2017 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

1764 comparable 2017 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,450 to $6,500. At $4,000 this one went 13% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in LA - GREENWOOD. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 88,933 miles high for a 2017 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 101,945 miles across 1764 sales, so at 88,933 miles this one sits 13% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was LOUISIANA FARM BUREAU. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
