Question 1

What do flood 2021 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2021 MAZDA CX-5 with flood damage, the median was $7,088, from $5,200 to $8,600. That is 18% above the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,925 a good price for this 2021 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

3018 comparable 2021 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,700 to $9,100. At $6,925 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - SUSSEX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-5 has flood and fresh water damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 84,784 miles high for a 2021 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 61,373 miles across 3018 sales, so at 84,784 miles this one sits 38% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
