Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2025 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2025 MAZDA CX-5 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $14,100, from $8,100 to $19,600. That is 60% above the $8,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2123 comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,800, spanning $4,600 to $14,800. At $8,600 this one went 2% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MAZDA CX-5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 20,899 miles high for a 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 52,649 miles across 2123 sales, so at 20,899 miles this one sits 60% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
