Question 1

What do front end 2025 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1068 recorded sales of the 2025 MAZDA CX-5 with front end damage, the median was $8,400, from $4,500 to $13,800. That is 5% below the $8,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,850 a good price for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2051 comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,850, spanning $4,600 to $14,850. At $14,850 this one went 68% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in VA - ASHLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-5 has front end and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 16,394 miles high for a 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 53,905 miles across 2051 sales, so at 16,394 miles this one sits 70% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
