Question 1

What do left & right side 2023 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2023 MAZDA CX-5 with left & right side damage, the median was $4,750, from $3,900 to $8,700. That is 34% below the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2023 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2302 comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,150 to $10,600. At $8,500 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - HUDSON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 21,625 miles high for a 2023 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 36,003 miles across 2302 sales, so at 21,625 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
