Question 1

Was $3,325 a good price for this 2017 MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

294 comparable 2017 MAZDA 6 listings sold at auction for a median of $3,700, spanning $3,100 to $5,400. At $3,325 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MAZDA 6 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this MAZDA 6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BALTIMORE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This MAZDA 6 has normal wear & tear and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 80,867 miles high for a 2017 MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MAZDA 6 listings at auction averaged 82,555 miles across 294 sales, so at 80,867 miles this one sits 2% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 MAZDA 6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
