Question 1

What do hail 2019 MAZDA 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2019 MAZDA 3 with hail damage, the median was $5,600, from $3,575 to $9,400. That is 38% above the $4,063 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,000 a good price for this 2019 MAZDA 3?

Accepted Answer

607 comparable 2019 MAZDA 3 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,063, spanning $3,200 to $5,800. At $6,000 this one went 48% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA 3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MAZDA 3's pre-damage retail value at $16,550. It sold for $6,000 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MAZDA 3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MO - COLUMBIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 81,367 miles high for a 2019 MAZDA 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MAZDA 3 listings at auction averaged 69,965 miles across 607 sales, so at 81,367 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MAZDA 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
