Question 1

What do rear 2018 MAZDA 3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 38 recorded sales of the 2018 MAZDA 3 with rear damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,150 to $4,600. That is 6% above the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this MAZDA 3?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MAZDA 3 was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MAZDA 3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 96,312 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA 3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA 3 listings at auction averaged 77,829 miles across 730 sales, so at 96,312 miles this one sits 24% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This MAZDA 3 has rear and frame damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2018 MAZDA 3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
