Question 1

Was $41,750 a good price for this 2023 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

968 comparable 2023 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $23,400, spanning $13,000 to $33,100. At $41,750 this one went 78% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $69,391. It sold for $41,750 — 40% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 LEXUS RX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LEXUS RX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 7,720 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 31,130 miles across 968 sales, so at 7,720 miles this one sits 75% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LEXUS RX has mechanical and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
