What do water/flood 2022 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS RX with water/flood damage, the median was $17,300, from $11,100 to $22,900. That is 5% above the $16,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $22,600 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS RX?

1405 comparable 2022 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $16,500, spanning $9,300 to $23,400. At $22,600 this one went 37% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $54,170. It sold for $22,600 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - HILLSBOROUGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS RX?

This 2022 LEXUS RX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 3,960 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS RX?

Comparable 2022 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 44,495 miles across 1405 sales, so at 3,960 miles this one sits 91% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
