Question 1

What do front end 2021 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 620 recorded sales of the 2021 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $14,750, from $7,700 to $20,400. That is 3% below the $15,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,300 a good price for this 2021 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1166 comparable 2021 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $15,200, spanning $7,800 to $21,200. At $12,300 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $39,550. It sold for $12,300 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 LEXUS RX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 57,433 miles high for a 2021 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 56,567 miles across 1166 sales, so at 57,433 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LEXUS RX has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
