Question 1

What do front end 2019 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 832 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $12,300, from $6,650 to $17,000. That is 3% below the $12,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,900 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1506 comparable 2019 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $12,700, spanning $6,600 to $17,400. At $12,900 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $33,497. It sold for $12,900 — 61% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - MENDON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 30,308 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 75,375 miles across 1506 sales, so at 30,308 miles this one sits 60% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS RX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
