Question 1

What do all over 2017 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 63 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS RX with all over damage, the median was $9,250, from $4,150 to $13,500. That is 17% below the $11,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,300 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

2589 comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $11,200, spanning $6,000 to $15,800. At $17,300 this one went 54% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS RX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in VA - CULPEPER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 LEXUS RX from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 LEXUS RX was listed at IAAI as lot 45492541 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
