Question 1

What do side 2023 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 97 recorded sales of the 2023 LEXUS RX with side damage, the median was $25,250, from $16,000 to $35,500. That is 8% above the $23,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $21,800 a good price for this 2023 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

938 comparable 2023 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $23,400, spanning $12,900 to $33,000. At $21,800 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $43,232. It sold for $21,800 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LEXUS RX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - HAYWARD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 LEXUS RX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
