Question 1

What do side 2022 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 111 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS RX with side damage, the median was $17,800, from $10,200 to $24,600. That is 7% above the $16,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,875 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1371 comparable 2022 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $16,600, spanning $9,300 to $23,375. At $9,875 this one went 41% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS RX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS RX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 81,508 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 44,411 miles across 1371 sales, so at 81,508 miles this one sits 84% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $32,311. It sold for $9,875 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.
