Question 1

Was $4,550 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1056 comparable 2020 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $14,100, spanning $7,000 to $19,925. At $4,550 this one went 68% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS RX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This LEXUS RX has top/roof and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 46,218 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 64,058 miles across 1056 sales, so at 46,218 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2020 LEXUS RX come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with top/roof damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
