Question 1

What do rollover 2017 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 39 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS RX with rollover damage, the median was $6,438, from $4,075 to $10,700. That is 43% below the $11,263 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,200 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

2601 comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $11,263, spanning $6,000 to $15,800. At $4,200 this one went 63% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $20,062. It sold for $4,200 — 79% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS RX was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LOUISVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 124,195 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 99,956 miles across 2601 sales, so at 124,195 miles this one sits 24% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
