Question 1

What do vandalism 2017 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 29 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS RX with vandalism damage, the median was $13,350, from $9,000 to $19,350. That is 19% above the $11,263 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,000 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

2601 comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $11,263, spanning $6,000 to $15,800. At $20,000 this one went 78% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $27,359. It sold for $20,000 — 27% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - FRANKLIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 56,381 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 99,956 miles across 2601 sales, so at 56,381 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS RX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
