Question 1

What do front end 2016 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 960 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $10,700, from $6,200 to $14,625. That is 2% below the $10,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,700 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1714 comparable 2016 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $10,900, spanning $6,100 to $15,200. At $11,700 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS RX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MN - HAM LAKE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS RX. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 120,827 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 113,642 miles across 1714 sales, so at 120,827 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
