Question 1

What do front end 2021 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 620 recorded sales of the 2021 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $14,750, from $7,700 to $20,400. That is 3% below the $15,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,300 a good price for this 2021 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1166 comparable 2021 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $15,200, spanning $7,800 to $21,200. At $12,300 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS RX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

This LEXUS RX has front end and none damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - PERRIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 23,308 miles high for a 2021 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 56,567 miles across 1166 sales, so at 23,308 miles this one sits 59% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
