Question 1

What do front end 2020 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 596 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $13,700, from $7,500 to $19,100. That is 3% below the $14,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,600 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

1056 comparable 2020 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $14,100, spanning $7,000 to $19,925. At $20,600 this one went 46% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS RX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS RX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 LEXUS RX's pre-damage retail value at $35,319. It sold for $20,600 — 42% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS RX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 LEXUS RX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
