Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1356 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $10,800, from $5,800 to $15,100. That is 4% below the $11,288 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,900 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

2563 comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $11,288, spanning $6,000 to $15,800. At $11,900 this one went 5% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - JUSTIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 163,185 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 99,842 miles across 2563 sales, so at 163,185 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2017 LEXUS RX come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
