Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS RX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1333 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS RX with front end damage, the median was $10,800, from $5,800 to $15,100. That is 4% below the $11,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

2511 comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings sold at auction for a median of $11,200, spanning $6,000 to $15,800. At $9,900 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS RX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS RX was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS RX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - LAKE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 84,771 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS RX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS RX listings at auction averaged 99,827 miles across 2511 sales, so at 84,771 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
