Question 1

Was $27,000 a good price for this 2024 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

764 comparable 2024 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $17,300, spanning $8,100 to $25,000. At $27,000 this one went 56% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2024 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $49,884. It sold for $27,000 — 46% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 LEXUS NX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This LEXUS NX has undercarriage and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 LEXUS NX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 34,344 miles high for a 2024 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 23,479 miles across 764 sales, so at 34,344 miles this one sits 46% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
