Question 1

What do side 2022 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 55 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS NX with side damage, the median was $17,850, from $7,500 to $23,900. That is 7% above the $16,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,800 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

514 comparable 2022 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $16,700, spanning $8,200 to $23,625. At $13,800 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $45,368. It sold for $13,800 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 LEXUS NX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 45,042 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 41,038 miles across 514 sales, so at 45,042 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS NX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
