Question 1

What do rear end 2022 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS NX with rear end damage, the median was $18,700, from $9,300 to $24,700. That is 12% above the $16,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,800 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

529 comparable 2022 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $16,650, spanning $8,200 to $23,625. At $17,800 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $31,799. It sold for $17,800 — 44% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - WINDSOR. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 LEXUS NX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 27,930 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 41,417 miles across 529 sales, so at 27,930 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
