Question 1

What do front end 2020 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 476 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS NX with front end damage, the median was $9,175, from $5,000 to $13,700. That is 2% below the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,600 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

871 comparable 2020 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $9,400, spanning $4,900 to $14,000. At $11,600 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $32,262. It sold for $11,600 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS NX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 66,945 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 64,893 miles across 871 sales, so at 66,945 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LEXUS NX has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
