Question 1

Was $9,800 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1034 comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $4,050 to $10,000. At $9,800 this one went 46% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $19,850. It sold for $9,800 — 51% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - MENDON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 96,704 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 112,089 miles across 1034 sales, so at 96,704 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS NX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 LEXUS NX from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 LEXUS NX was listed at COPART as lot 57467286 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
