Question 1

What do front end 2019 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 510 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS NX with front end damage, the median was $8,000, from $4,800 to $11,500. That is 4% below the $8,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,800 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

967 comparable 2019 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $8,300, spanning $4,550 to $12,675. At $5,800 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS NX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $23,245. It sold for $5,800 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - WINDSOR. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 47,354 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 78,808 miles across 967 sales, so at 47,354 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
