Question 1

This LEXUS NX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS NX. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 21,076 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 112,378 miles across 1091 sales, so at 21,076 miles this one sits 81% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN JTJBARBZ9G2087608?

Accepted Answer

JTJBARBZ9G2087608 identifies this specific 2016 LEXUS NX in grey with a 2.0l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 LEXUS NX from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 LEXUS NX was listed at COPART as lot 72731786 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
