Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 636 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with front end damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,900 to $9,100. That is 5% below the $6,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This LEXUS NX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS NX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 19,970 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 103,935 miles across 1208 sales, so at 19,970 miles this one sits 81% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this LEXUS NX located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in HI - KAPOLEI. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was USAA. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
