Question 1

What do rear end 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 103 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with rear end damage, the median was $7,300, from $4,650 to $9,700. That is 11% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,300 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1232 comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $4,000 to $9,700. At $8,300 this one went 26% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS NX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $24,460. It sold for $8,300 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS NX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 125,538 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 104,201 miles across 1232 sales, so at 125,538 miles this one sits 20% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
