Question 1

What do side 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 107 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with side damage, the median was $6,700, from $4,250 to $9,300. That is level with the $6,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1168 comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $4,050 to $9,800. At $8,500 this one went 27% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $19,663. It sold for $8,500 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - HILLSBOROUGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS NX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 66,857 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 103,580 miles across 1168 sales, so at 66,857 miles this one sits 35% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
