Question 1

What do hail 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with hail damage, the median was $9,500, from $5,100 to $12,900. That is 42% above the $6,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS NX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 132,387 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 103,580 miles across 1168 sales, so at 132,387 miles this one sits 28% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 LEXUS NX come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
