Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 629 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with front end damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,950 to $9,175. That is 5% below the $6,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1192 comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,650, spanning $4,050 to $9,700. At $5,500 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS NX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in UT - MAGNA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $18,533. It sold for $5,500 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

This LEXUS NX has front end and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
