Question 1

Was $7,900 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1063 comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $4,050 to $9,900. At $7,900 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $20,788. It sold for $7,900 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS NX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This LEXUS NX has top/roof and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 74,325 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 112,492 miles across 1063 sales, so at 74,325 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
