Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS NX with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $9,100, from $5,300 to $11,700. That is 38% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,000 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1059 comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $4,050 to $9,900. At $10,000 this one went 52% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS NX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 78,120 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 112,306 miles across 1059 sales, so at 78,120 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS NX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - GLASSBORO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS NX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
