Question 1

What do left front 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 32 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with left front damage, the median was $7,200, from $4,650 to $8,900. That is 7% above the $6,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1168 comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $4,050 to $9,800. At $7,200 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS NX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This LEXUS NX has left front and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 26,575 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings at auction averaged 103,527 miles across 1168 sales, so at 26,575 miles this one sits 74% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was AUTO CLUB OF SOUTHERN CA (ACSC). Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
