Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS NX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 628 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS NX with front end damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,950 to $9,175. That is 5% below the $6,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,300 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

1191 comparable 2017 LEXUS NX listings sold at auction for a median of $6,650, spanning $4,050 to $9,700. At $5,300 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS NX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS NX's pre-damage retail value at $17,153. It sold for $5,300 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS NX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS NX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This LEXUS NX has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS NX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
