Question 1

What do front end 2018 LEXUS LX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS LX with front end damage, the median was $32,500, from $20,200 to $40,500. That is 17% below the $39,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $35,000 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS LX?

Accepted Answer

54 comparable 2018 LEXUS LX listings sold at auction for a median of $39,100, spanning $20,200 to $48,000. At $35,000 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS LX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LEXUS LX's pre-damage retail value at $52,292. It sold for $35,000 — 33% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS LX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 68,579 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS LX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS LX listings at auction averaged 104,586 miles across 54 sales, so at 68,579 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS LX?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS LX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
