Question 1

What do front end 2022 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $20,200, from $5,300 to $27,500. That is 8% below the $22,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $33,250 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

38 comparable 2022 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $22,000, spanning $10,000 to $31,500. At $33,250 this one went 51% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS LS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS LS's pre-damage retail value at $59,854. It sold for $33,250 — 44% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS LS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 29,426 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 29,117 miles across 38 sales, so at 29,426 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
