Question 1

Was $25,000 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

39 comparable 2022 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $22,250, spanning $10,000 to $31,500. At $25,000 this one went 12% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This LEXUS LS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS LS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 8,322 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 28,947 miles across 39 sales, so at 8,322 miles this one sits 71% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS LS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - VAN NUYS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JTHD51FF2N5017556?

Accepted Answer

JTHD51FF2N5017556 identifies this specific 2022 LEXUS LS in black with a 3.5l 6 engine, rear wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
