Question 1

What do front end 2018 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 124 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $12,850, from $5,500 to $16,900. That is 6% below the $13,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,900 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

215 comparable 2018 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $13,600, spanning $6,000 to $18,000. At $7,900 this one went 42% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS LS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS LS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in SC - HARLEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS LS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS LS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LEXUS LS's pre-damage retail value at $41,817. It sold for $7,900 — 81% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.
