Question 1

What do front end 2016 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 40 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,300 to $10,100. That is 13% below the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,925 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

86 comparable 2016 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $3,750 to $11,250. At $5,925 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS LS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This LEXUS LS has front end and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 52,961 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 105,234 miles across 86 sales, so at 52,961 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
